You can deliver vital rehabilitation care to people injured in the blast, as well as psychosocial support!

Explosions rocked Beirut, Lebanon's capital, on August 4. The blasts injured more than 4,000 people, and claimed at least 100 lives.

Humanity & Inclusion teams have worked in Lebanon since 1992, most recently in aid of Syrian refugees, especially those with disabilities, serious, conflict-related injuries, chronic illnesses, and the effects of aging.

Right now, our 100-person Lebanon team is gathering information from hospitals to prepare a response–rehabilitation & psycho-social needs are acute.

Your gift, whatever the amount, can help provide desperately-needed care.

$300 can fund psychological support sessions for Lebanese families

$500 can provide a month of rehabilitation to help an injured child walk again

Gifts matched doubled by the Government of Canada!

The Government of Canada has matched individual donations made by Canadians to the Humanitarian Coalition and its 12 members up to a maximum of five million Canadian dollars (C$5 million) in total.

Humanity & Inclusion (the new name of handicap international) is co-recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize for our work to ban landmines, the 1996 Nansen Prize for our work with refugees, and the 2011 Hilton Humanitarian Prize, the world’s largest humanitarian prize, for our work in Haiti after the earthquake.

*Any funds raised beyond the needs of our Beirut Explosion response will be used to support other vital programs around the world.
